The  journal of the ICF is an open access journal which publishes full length articles, reviews, and editorials on cardiovascular and cardiometabolic health and disease. Opinion pieces, commentaries, and letters to the editor are also welcomed. The journal features an exceptionally fast reviewing process of approximately 3 weeks to final decision.  The ICF journal has an internationally renowned Editorial Board and experienced associate editors.

To support open access and allow us to make our research findings available to the physicians and researchers of the world we will not charge for access to our publications.  The journal will be funded by a publication charge for each article accepted after thorough scientific peer review.  In addition, article processing fee 100 Euro will be applied to all submitted articles.  This fee will be credited against the full publication charge for accepted manuscripts

Full publication charges: 1200 Euro

The editors reserve the right to waive publication charges for selected invited editorials and reviews.   Affiliated national societies may subsidize or support the full cost of publishing accepted papers from their society members and/or national communities by prior negotiation

International Societies affiliation: The ICF journal is aimed at supporting national, regional and international societies which do not have local quality journals in the cardiovascular and cardio-metabolic field.  Such societies are invited to participate in the editing activity of the journal according to the following proposal

Leadership Societies – including 5 full papers, 15 letters, editorial or opinion pieces, and up to 12 pages of society notices to be published annually (10,000 Euro)

Supporter Societies – including 3 papers, 10 letters, editorial or opinion pieces, and up to 6 pages of society notices to be published annually (6,000 Euro)
